You know, I just thought I could go on without posting and nobody would notice or give a damn… It’s just that the whole blog thing did not go in the direction that I thought it would. I wanted company and I wanted support, and I wanted not to be alone in the millinery world, but the result was not the expected and I felt more alone than ever, knowing that there are millions of people out there and to be honest, they couldn’t care less that I’m writing a blog.
To make matters worse my friend Nina has been away for a month. She recently came back and we were going to have lunch together last week when my mother decided she was dying (no worries please, she was not dying this time, nor was she dying the other times before), so I had to jump out of work and go reassure my mom that the world was not ending, yet. So, no lunch with Nina.
But, lo and behold, today wonderful Jill decided to post a comment on my blog and I JUST had to laugh my lungs out. So you don’t miss it, the message reads:
“Well, are you going to make something with these hoods soon? It will be straw hat season before you know it. Love your work, visit my millinery site, you can see my hats via the labels on the side bar.
Keep up the good millinery work!”
I recommend you take a look at her blog, although I must say that when I started reading it I had SERIOUS doubts… but just be patient and read on, you will not be disappointed.
And now, with a smile on my face, I think I will start moving my ass and get back to doing the things I love, among them I will keep on boring yours truly with my postings and my hat making.
